Founding Attorney

Will Small is an experienced litigator with over a decade of practice in California’s state and federal courts. His current focus is employment and business litigation, with an emphasis on representing employees in disputes with their employers and helping businesses and individuals navigate complex commercial conflicts.

Throughout his career, Will has successfully represented clients ranging from large corporations to entrepreneurs and individual employees, handling matters involving wrongful termination, workplace discrimination, breach of contract, fraud, partnership disputes and professional liability.

Will begins each case by working closely with his clients to understand their goals. Whether pursuing aggressive litigation or a strategic negotiated resolution, he brings the skills, insight, and tenacity needed to achieve meaningful results. While many disputes resolve outside the courtroom, Will is an experienced trial attorney who thrives in the courtroom and doesn’t hesitate to take a case to trial when it serves his client’s best interests. He enjoys advocating forcefully for his clients before judges and juries and is driven by a commitment to getting real results — whether through litigation or negotiated resolution.

Before founding Small Law PC, Will served as a senior attorney at a large national law firm. Today, he combines that big-firm experience with a personalized, transparent, and responsive approach. Clients trust Will not only for his legal knowledge, but because he listens, communicates clearly, and fights for their best interests.

When he's not advocating for clients, Will enjoys golfing in the San Diego sun, watching UNC basketball, and spending time with his wife and two daughters in Point Loma or at the local soccer field.
